If you still read this, you can tell that during the summer months I don't blog as much. Weird because during the school year, I am more busy so you would think it would be the opposite. Anyway, Liz, Olivia, and I just came back from Nebraska. We had a 4 day trip home to see family and take some photos of Olivia. They were suppose to be 6th month pictures but turned out being more like 7th month, but can't really tell.
If you want to see her photo shoot, go to this website:
http://www.neworldesigns.com/ then in the bottom right click on "online proofing"...the password to view her photos is olivia. We are really happy with how they turned out. Next time we do this there will be now pearls. Once she had them you couldn't take them away with out some sort of meltdown.
It was great to see family again. We spent two days at each grandparents house. They were great! Liz and I could rest...well I could rest. Olivia wouldn't sleep consistently in her pack in play so Liz let her sleep in bed with us. (Note: when we returned back to Lee's Summit...Olivia crashed and slept the entire night in her crib...funny how being comfortable in your own bed provides a good night of sleep...home sweet home!)

Mommy and Libby playing in the foutain at the Legends in KCK
Olivia the center of attention!
We were able to go golfing at the little Par 3 course in C-bus. I thought about taking Liz to Qauil Run or Vanberburg golf course in c-bus, but the par 3 course would be the best beginner course. I shot 2 over for the day and Liz is getting better. I think her best two holes where she consistently hit the ball were the final two.

Daddy and Libby watching TV!
This summer we have been living the easy life. Example....Last week...we were bored so we hopped in the car drove to the Royals game. We knew they were playing a doubleheader and it started at like 4...so we just dropped everything and went. Bought two 9 dollar tickets for two games, got 2 free t-shirts and proceeded to watch the Royals get pounded. After the game dinner was some custard's last stand!

Family shot....Olivia couldn't stop looking at the HUGE HD Screen! Lots of empty seats!
Olivia wearing the free t-shirt we got at the Royals game!

HUSKER POWER!
I will continue the random post and finish with maybe the coolest moment of all from our trip back to Nebraska. Olivia at Memorial Stadium. She took her first steps on the turf..of course with Liz hold hands and they were really small but I like to think it was because of the location:) That place is so awesome. Take a look!
Saw this at the Stadium....this is for you Ryan! You were surrounded by Terp and Wilson.

School starts in a few weeks...I really don't want to talk about it, so I will just end the post and say I will blog again in a week! Stay tuned...
