Alrighty.... so today was the official due date and Olivia is still in the belly. We have spent the day dodging the ice that is falling...our driveway is Lee's Summit's only ice ramp (think of a ski slope with ice only) and playing games. In fact, we just finished the greatest game of Scrabble in the history of board games. Todd was down 161 to 99 with about 3 turns left. We play until there is no room left on the board or not enough tiles are left to make a word. Luckily, Todd gets the word "which" worth 48 points! Then follows it up with a 9 pointer and finishes Liz off with a 22 pointer "qin" (which is a word for a famous Chinese dynasty...i knew teaching 7th grade history would finally pay off). Final score Todd 188...Liz 179. Stunned silence...she didn't know what hit her.
Anyway...we are getting impatient!
